Description
The specimen shows in the right posterior fossa, a circumscribed tumour some 4.0 cm. across
arising from the dura overlying the petrous temporal bone. The pituitary fossa is seen in the upper
left-hand corner of the specimen.
History
The only details available are that this woman, at the age of 50, was admitted for surgical
treatment of this lesion but death occurred before this could be completed.
